Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and authentication providers may automatically receive limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as internet protocol address, browser and device type, request time, referring page, error data, security events, and session or authentication information.
KBC does not currently install advertising cookies, targeted advertising technologies, or analytics tools provided by third parties. The hosting platform automatically provides KBC with limited, aggregate traffic counts, such as page views and unique visitors. See the Cookie Notice for more information.
Required and optional information
Form fields marked as required are reasonably necessary to identify the request, evaluate the appropriate pathway, and respond. If required information is not provided, the form cannot be submitted. Optional fields may be left blank. Do not submit complete credit reports, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive records through this website.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- receive, review, organize, and respond to inquiries;
- evaluate requested services and communicate about a possible engagement;
- schedule consultations, speaking, training, or institutional conversations;
- evaluate and respond to U.S. consumer credit education inquiries within KBC’s educational scope;

KBC does not use website inquiry information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Contact information submitted through an inquiry is used for that inquiry and related administrative communication, not for unrelated promotional email unless a person separately chooses to receive it.
5. Kingdom Business Directory information
Directory applications include private review information and proposed public profile information. KBC uses private applicant details to evaluate eligibility, communicate about approval, administer fees and renewals, review concerns, and understand optional interest in KBC support. Consulting interest is not required for directory approval.
Only information intentionally approved for an active public listing is displayed in the directory. Private contact details, business challenges, admin notes, payment records, and other private review information are not published. Public listing information may remain visible until a listing expires, is suspended, is removed, or the information is corrected.
Listing reports are kept private while KBC reviews the reported issue. KBC may contact the reporter or listed business when reasonably needed to assess a report.
Payment information and third party processing
KBC may use an approved third party payment provider for paid services, Directory listings, assessments, training, resources, and other offerings. Where applicable, payment information is entered directly into the provider’s secure checkout environment. KBC does not intend to collect or store complete payment card numbers or sensitive bank credentials through general website forms, ordinary email, or the KBC Admin.
The payment provider may collect billing and payment information needed to process a transaction. KBC may receive limited transaction information, including a customer or business name, email, amount, currency, payment status, transaction reference, payment date, refund status, dispute status, and subscription or renewal status when applicable.
KBC may use this limited information for operational records, service activation, Directory activation, refunds, payment questions, fraud prevention, accounting, and recordkeeping. The payment provider operates under its own privacy practices and terms.
Do not submit complete card numbers, bank login credentials, or other sensitive payment information through general KBC forms or ordinary email.
6. Legal bases where applicable
Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, KBC relies on one or more of the following: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, pursuing legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, complying with a legal obligation, protecting legal rights or safety, and consent when consent is required. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing.
Where KBC relies on legitimate interests and applicable law provides a right to object, you may object through the Legal & Privacy Request form. KBC will evaluate the objection and stop or limit the processing when the law requires.
7. How information is shared
KBC may share information with:
- hosting, database, security, authentication, email delivery, and approved payment providers that support the website and KBC operations;
- professional advisers, contractors, or service providers with a legitimate need to support KBC operations;
- law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other authorities when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety;
- a successor or participant in a lawful merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate protections; and
- other parties when you direct or authorize the disclosure.
KBC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
8. Data retention
If an inquiry does not become an engagement, KBC generally retains the inquiry record for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. We may delete it sooner when it is no longer needed.
If an engagement begins, relevant records may be retained for the period stated in the client agreement or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business records. Security logs and technical records may follow shorter or provider specific retention periods.
Directory applications and listing administration records may be retained while a listing is active and for a reasonable period after expiration or removal to manage renewals, disputes, compliance, and business records. Listing reports are retained for as long as reasonably needed to investigate and document the outcome. KBC does not collect payment card or bank account numbers through the directory application form.
9. Security
KBC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. Inquiry records are maintained in a restricted system intended for authorized review. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Do not submit passwords, payment card or bank account numbers, government identification numbers, protected health information, legally privileged material, or other highly sensitive information through a website form.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
KBC does not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request. If we deny a request, you may submit an appeal through the same form and select “Appeal a privacy decision.”
Where applicable, you may also lodge a complaint with the privacy, consumer protection or data protection authority responsible for your location. Individuals in the European Economic Area may contact the supervisory authority where they live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. Individuals in the United Kingdom may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contacting KBC first is welcomed but is not a condition of exercising a regulatory complaint right.

Where applicable law requires additional safeguards, KBC will assess and use legally recognized measures appropriate to the processing or will not proceed with processing that requires safeguards KBC cannot provide. You may use the Legal & Privacy Request form to ask about safeguards relevant to your information.
12. Children’s privacy
This website and its inquiry forms are not directed to children under 18. KBC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through these forms. A parent, guardian, church, school, or organization seeking information about a program involving minors should submit the inquiry in the adult representative’s own name.
